Sam has worked with children and young people for the last 17 years; from youth work at Portishead and the barn in Clevedon, to working for North Somerset Council as a play development team leader. He has also run after school clubs and hosted 1000’s of birthday parties.
Sam is a qualified teacher, who has had a placement at Weston College and now owns and runs a successful Forest School that invited all the schools in the area to “get outside!”
Sam sat on the youth council for 5 years, and he was a beaver, cub and scout, going on to be a young leader. There is not much he would not give a go growing up!
Sam was the radio station manager for radio dynamic a Youth Radio station. He was also on-air with Curzon FM and worked with Bush and Troy from GWR. He has done Masters ceremony roll for a number of events and been a public speaker for front of house.
Sam strongly believes in the strengths of Clevedon and that Clevedon should be ran the way members of the town want it. North Somerset are trying to make decisions that should be made by people who live in the town themselves and this. must. end.
It’s time to Vote for Sam Harrison (independent)! A Vote for Sam is a vote for local decision making, by someone who lives in and cares for the community
